Plea from England

Please, please, please demand that your groundsmen for the rest of this series against Australia produce raging turners of wickets. Slow and low for Lee and Clark, but kicking up dust when Anil and Harbo are bowling.
Please, please encourage your team to beat Australia.
All is not lost in this 1st test: if Kahn and Sharma can nip in when fresh tomorrow morning, then the spinners can mop up the rest. Haddin and White haven't proved they have the class. Johnson, Lee and Clark will fall quickly after that. Australia all out for 400 sometime in the 2nd session. Then, let the masters rack up big runs until sometime on day 4. Once the new ball is softened, the Aussie seamers will wilt in the heat. When Lee visits us in England he puts 10mph more on his deliveries. Day 5, spin them out. Job done.
Please wipe the arrogance from the Australian faces. For our sake in England, if not for yours!
Come on India!
p.s. What is all this retirement nonsense?? If you are good enough, ge is irrelevant. Gooch took 333 of India when he was 39, Ul-Haq, Border, Waugh, Hadlee, Langer, Gower, Lamb, etc. All class acts til a ripe old age.
England have been missing Alec Stewart since the day he retired at 40+, and Australia want Warne back. McGrath.. etc. Don't get caught up in the hype, if they are playing well keep your masters.
p.p.s. Maybe Ponting will get caught in another nightclub incident tonight when out celebrating his ton?
