I think this World Cup is going to be very interesting for several reasons.
First, the Mighty Aussie factor is a little dampened compared to some previous world cups. It's like the game is alive again when the "invincible" Australia are looking more and more beatable! OUCH!
Then there is the India factor which is again the over-played Twenty-20 fatigue. Let's see how game adjusts for them, considering the "long" version of one-dayers. I can't believe I'm actually saying this, as ODIs were derided as the bastardization of "real cricket" by pundits before. How times have changed!
The... ahem... Cho... I mean Chosen (hehe) South Africans are always a very safe bet as a winning team, untill... of course, it's time to REALLY win 
Pakistan - well - the team is reflecting the state of affairs of the country itself. Enough said. Let's wish them and the country best.
One thing that I fear is the security situation, but let us all hope and wish that it all happens without harm and peacefully.
